Important Milestone Reached in ASA Cape Verde Navigation Infrastructure Project
Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Training completed!
Succesfully completion of another important milestone in our ongoing project for ASA (Aeroportos e Segurança Aérea) in Cape Verde.
Over the past two weeks, representatives from ASA participated in training activities and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) at Indra Air Traffic's facilities in Kansas City, USA. The activities focused on three Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) systems that will form part of the future navigation infrastructure being delivered under the project.
The successful completion of both the training programme and FAT confirms that the systems meet the specified technical requirements and are ready to proceed to the next stages of the project.
Beyond the technical achievements, the sessions provided a valuable opportunity for collaboration between the project partners, strengthening cooperation and ensuring a shared understanding of the systems prior to deployment and commissioning.
The project represents another important step in supporting the continued modernization of aviation infrastructure in Cape Verde, contributing to safe, reliable, and efficient air navigation services.
AviNeering would like to thank ASA and Indra Air Traffic for their professionalism and excellent cooperation throughout this phase of the project.
We look forward to continuing the journey together as the project moves into its next stage.
