ATSEP Basic Training Completed for Saab Engineers

All students passed the exams !

AviNeering, together with Roger Holm, kicked off 2026 with an ATSEP Basic Course for 5 engineers from Saab Sweden.

The training course was delivered over two weeks in Sweden and led by Roger Holm, who ensured that the sessions was interactive and ingaging for the students. The training was held in accordance with EASA regulation (EU) 2017/373, covering 11 sub units supported by daily online exercises and repetitive training on the following topics:

  • Induction (course overview and structure)

  • Air Traffic Familiarisation

  • AIS (Aeronautical Information Services)

  • Meteorology

  • Communication

  • Navigation

  • Surveillance

  • Data Processing

  • System Monitoring and Control

  • Maintenance

  • Facilities

Feedback from the course was very positive from all participants, and we are happy that all participants passed with top results!
